A masterclass in understated elegance, this vintage Seiko Dolce 5931 features impeccably preserved slanted bezels that catch the light with architectural precision. Its understated but interesting, subtly lemon-toned dial and razor-sharp case lines reflect Seiko’s pursuit of perfection during its golden era of design. A rare example in pristine condition—timeless, refined, and quietly commanding. Its likely manufacturing date is April 1982, a part of the earliest Seiko Dolce productions.

- The navy-colored vintage SEIKO watch box is included
- The watch (case, crystal, caseback, interior) is in outstanding condition with only faint signs of use and maintenance
- The hands show light patina, adding character to the watch and hinting at its age
- The vintage buckle is original, and can be re-installed on new straps
- The black strap (not original) has been gently worn over many years and shows signs of use—one of the loops is broken; due to the fragile nature of the vintage strap, we will include (at no extra charge) a new Supple Suede Strap by Jane Goldberg in Medium Blue, 20 mm, which pairs tastefully with the dial. The suede strap can be installed/removed quickly without tools. We will ship the watch with the new suede bracelet already installed, ensuring the watch is ready to wear
- During testing, we found the symmetric caseback to be more secure in an upside-down position, which does not affect the usage of the watch. We have intentionally placed the caseback in this position
- This watch has been keeping good time during testing, though as with all vintage timepieces, performance may vary slightly and no guarantees are made. A brand new battery will be installed during packaging.
